Course Placements
Although your ALEKS Math test score will be shown to you when
you complete the exam, your chemistry and foreign language test scores will not. It is very
important that you meet with your academic advisor during Summer Registration in order to
learn of your placement test results, discuss your course enrollment options, and then choose
your first-semester courses.
The advisor you meet with for Summer Registration may or may not
be the same person who is your official academic advisor. When you come to Summer Registration,
you should find out and write down your academic advisor’s name, office location and email address.
This is the person who will guide you through your program until you graduate.
Your academic advisor will always have access to the results of your placement tests. You
can meet with him or her at any time before or during the semester to review the results of your placement
tests and discuss your course enrollment options.
